Competed in the Le Touquet 10K road race yesterday, a traditional annual outing for the Harriers. With temperatures of around 32-33C even the French were complaining and the going was tough.
Usual great organisation and crowd support though and a big thank you to all those sympathetic local residents who set up improvised shower curtain sprays at various points along the route which helped to combat the equatorial conditions.
No reports of any Harriers doing a “Mo-Bot” on crossing the line in the stadium including yours truly – probably lacking the energy to lift the arms !
