I offer online running coaching as an alternative form of coaching for runners of all standards and experience including beginners who may have difficulties in arranging one to one meetings or field sessions because of work or domestic commitments or who simply may prefer this form of coaching.
The benefits of online coaching are many. It gives you the runner opportunities to contact your personal coach to discuss and review on a one to one basis a particular training session or run at a time which best suits you and it will give me as your coach the opportunity to assess the status of your training regime or race objective programmes and to advise on any adjustments to your individual sessions and runs and to take into account in particular possible recovery or injury issues. It will provide continuity in the coaching and not least it will provide ongoing feedback and encouragement which can make a huge difference in terms of motivation.
Online coaching can be in the form of phone discussions and or texts e-mails or a combination of all or any of these. If you need any form of advice or reassurance on your ongoing training or training programme then you can simply phone or text and I will get back to you as soon as possible. I can also offer communications via e-mail and Skype discussions by arrangement.
Online contracts are for a minimum of 1 month or for as long as you feel is appropriate to your personal needs and requirements. For example, if you have a targeted race coming up you may consider online coaching as being ideal for the 1-2 months leading up to the event.
