Just when I thought my training was getting back on track , mileage was increasing nicely and I was all  set for a flooded or semi flooded 8 miler round the Black Route in Blean Woods up pops one of these weird lurgies which have seem to have proliferated this Winter. My variation left me completley zapped, aching all over and in bed for the best part of 48 hours. Strangely  I appear to have come through (touch wood) with no chest infection, sneezing or coughing of any kind and am now able to rejoin the battle with a few tentative walk runs. Perhaps a dry !! Black Route run in two weeks ?
